Photoshop Help (Solved!)

Well...I'd just like to ask...where do you find some nice fonts for using in Photoshop? Or...how do you tinker with different effects in fonts? Is there any guide for it?

Another question would be...I've saw quite a number of nice backgrounds in the signature of some users, just like to know...is there any guide in teaching or any good videos showing it?

To download fonts I use this one: Download Free Fonts - 13,000+ free fonts for download
And for background and that stuff I go to DA - deviantART: where ART meets application!. Go there and search for Textures.
I think you will find a lot of stuff there.
If you aren't satisfied you can search in google with the same word.
in DA you can find almost all you want, art, graphics, tutorials, all you need to go is search XD

Well just one more tiny question...after downloading the fonts...how do I use it in photoshop?

You have to put your fonts in your font folder

*good* Okay I've searched for the english therms. So xD Go to "Setting" --> "control panel" and in there you should see a font folder. Just open that folder and drag your font's in there :P You can also select "Install new font" in the file menu, but dragging your fonts in the folder is easier, by my opinion

Using the Install New Font dialogue is better, because it forces the system to REGISTER the fonts in the system registry at that time, which dragging-and-dropping doesn't always accomplish.

^^ Just as a thought.

And be careful with the fonts you download, many can be broken or overly complicated and lead to extremely SLOW loading times.

Thanks for all the help! I've succeeded in adding the fonts ^^ It's really true that some fonts have slow loading times~

You can always keep those to the side and then add/remove them as needed. That way you don't slow your machine down. (Even loading windows can be slowed by bad fonts!)
