Hahaha, I might sound like an idiot for asking, but I don't know how to make a signature/avatar with curved corners. I mean I can do it but the transparency at the edges don't stay after I save them and it ends up showing in white when I try to use them on the forum. :/ Anyone knows how to fix this promblem?

Edit: Thanks guys, I didn't know that png format supports transparency *facepalms*

New problem: Compressing the PNG avatar. Cause I can do it with JPEG but not PNG. Cause I just really suck like that.

For transparencies, I believe the file must be saved in .png (works for sure) or maybe .gif >.o

How Can we save the file in another format O.O ? I actually don't use photoshop, but Gimp and i wonder (hope it's not a prob to pop the question here >.<)

Yeah, transparencies are showed with .png files.

I don't have Gimp but to save in other formats usually is:

File ---> Save as ---> then choose the available filetype you want from the drop-down menu

Do you have win zip installed or any other program used to compress files? If so when right clicking on the file you want to zip you shold have an option to do so, using your program of choice. That's how it works with my winpiz anyway ^^;

Hmmm, what I meant when I said compressing files, I meant making the png image a smaller size (aka less bytes) while keeping the same quality. I can do this with JPEG files, but not PNG files. Sorry for confusing you.

Oh dear i didn't even know that was possible O.O no need to apologize, i'm a complete noob XD i'm trying, emphasis on Trying, to unraveal the mysteries of Gimp, photoshop etc myself lol (thus why i'm lurking here lol)
