Hm...When you say "animate text", what do you mean? Making each individual letter move, making it flash, etc.?

I'm not really sure what you mean by that, but here's a couple of tutorials that show different ways of animating text(not from this site) -

now that i've learned a lil bit about animating text, i'm having a super hard time taking part of one image and putting it onto another.... i tried the magnetic lasso, but sometimes it doesn't work well for me.... is there any other way???

Putting one image into another? Do you mean taking a picture with a background and moving it onto something else so that the background doesn't show up?

Because if you're using Photoshop CS4, then the quick selection tool(and then tracing the picture - If it's too big, use Ctrl+D to deselect), copying, then pasting it on another layer(right-clicking, "New Layer with Cut" or something like that) so that way the two pictures overlap.

If not, what else do you mean? xD

Yeah, I think that's it! I want to take part of one image without it's background and place it in (on top of) another image. I'll try that out and see how it goes.

Ah it sounds like a simple issue of selection. Really the best you can do is be careful with your selections with the lasso or you can give quick mask a try. I think they still call it quick mask... but with it you can select what you want by painting with a soft-edged brush even if you want to. It can make for some very nice selections...

Change the layer to say "difference" then use the move tool, I had the same problem when I first started. Stacking in Photoshop

and I was wondering how to do the animated text too!
