How to change which program does what

Sorry, the title wasn't very specific, but here's my problem.

When I used to read zip files, I click on the pic and it opened up in a Windows program, which I like.

However, I download PhotoShop CS2 trial off the internet, and it came with some other stuff aside from the actual program.

Long story short, whenever I click on an image that is in [png] format, instead of opening in the Windows program, it opens in something else, which is a real hassle.

So basically, what do I need to do so that I can look at all pics in a Windows window?

Right click, Open with, Choose Program, Windows Fax Viewer, Above Browse , Click on ~always use the selected program to view this kind of file, That should do it.
