convert PDF to XLS?

Hi there!

A quick question, anyone know how to convert PDF to XLS (excel file)? or even easier, how to type in (fill in) form boxes on PDF? I tried to using the hand tool and select tool, but it seems like the boxes are not even highlighted, only the words are (which are not in the box).

As for using converting program such as PDF2XL, it only convert the words, but not the form boxes.

Hopefully someone understands what I'm talking about and can help me. Thanks in advance! ^^

To fill in box fields in pdf's, the original pdf has to be set to allow people to electronically fill it in. If you tried to use tools and hover over the box field and no I beam symbol appeared that means the pdf was not set to be filled in by adobe reader.

That's what I thought since before I could write on PDF, and this file is definitely to fill in so I was wondering. I'll double check and see if it works. Thank You!
