Mkv Subtitles! Q.q.

q.q. stands for quick question. Does anyone know how to paly .mkv files? I've downloaded a player since I've gotten some and it all seems to be getting along great except for one thing....
Every time I download an .MKV file there are always automatic subtitles. They are not shown as actual subtitle files in the menu for my Media Player Classic, so I can't turn them off. Is there a way I can get rid of these subtitles?

Maybe they are hardsubs. Subtitles that are integrated into the video itself.

You can't get rid of those?

Right click --> Show subtitles/subtitles (or similar setting) --> turn off

That would get rid of all the soft subbed subtitles. Hard-subbed subtitles cannot be "turned off". Most MKV files will have soft-subbed content and hard-subbed OP/ED sequences.
