Do you have to Have a Japanese Keyboard to Type in Japanese?

Ok I know probably a very dumb question but do you need a different key bord to type in japanese characters? Or is there some way you can just type the word in romaji and then change it???anyone know?

No, you don't need a Japanese keyboard but you do need to install the Japanese IME and activate Japanese input in Text Services and Input Languages (under Regional and Language options). This is for Windows XP, by the way.

Control Panel -> Regional and Language Options -> Install East Asian Files -> Insert any Windows XP CD.
