Downloading from Torrent

Hello!

There is a movie that I really want to download but I could only find a download link from torrent. However, I have no idea how I should go about downloading torrent files. I looked for previous threads in the forum but I didn't quite understand. Sorry, I'm a newbie at this! I have a MacBook Pro by the way. Could someone tell me how to download torrent links please? Thanks in advance!

A Warning first: you must have an anti-virus installed, a good one.
First, you need to download a torrent downloader (in case you don't have one. I use UTorrent.
Then I'll suggest to read the comments/reviews on the torrent you want to download.
When you're sure is a good one, just click where it says "download this torrent" and just wait for it to be completely downloaded into your computer.
Warning! depending on how fast is your internet, while the torrent is downloading, anything else that you do will get slower. Ex: watching a video may start lagging.

As far as I know, yes.
It all depends on the format of the torrent you'll be downloading. Always verify the description(if there's any) or in the comments/reviews.

I use VLC, and I haven't yet found a format it won't play, so you should be pretty right. Most movies are in .avi, .mkv, or .mp4 format.

yes ..you can get Utorrent for Macs ..you only need to got to the official page or go to "file hippo" and search for "utorrent for Macs"
