Am i allowed to post here too even if it's not a file from the server that's not working anymore?
My problem right now is, that i recorded a thing on my laptop and it created a mp4 file. No problem so far! Now after some time i decided to transfer my videos to an external device (USB stick) and now half of my files are, i don't know, corrupt? Don't work anymore? Don't open or with just a black background and a error text... before i tried to transfer them they worked great... film and sound were fine, could see anything etc.
One video has now the error code: 0xc00d36c4
And the other one: 0xc00d36e5
I'm so sad because of that because i was stupid enough not to copy them and transfer but to cut them out and transfer and now i don't have any back up files of them anymore orz
Is there any way those files can be saved somehow? Q-Q
I have Windows 10
It's a Lenovo Laptop
Files are not old - recorded around September/August
I also tried to download programms that could repair corrupted files but none of them worked really (and for the really good ones you have to pay)
Again, i'm so stupid and i hope someone can help me out, even if it's just a little bit orz
Thanks for reading!

Have you tried copying the files back onto your hard drive? If you've tried that and they still don't work, and you haven't changed your video player, I'd say the USB drive might have been a bit dodgy and it's corrupted the files.

yes, i already did that.
i always check my videos when i transfer them and after getting that error i clicked the 'undo transfer' (my native language is not english so i don't really know what it would be called) but the file was already damaged...
