So, I downloaded Lamento, had everything ready, and when I tried to open it, it told me that Lamento wasn't compatible with my computer. I checked, and sure enough, I have the newer Windows 7. Lamento only works with Vista, XP, etc.

I would love to know if there is a way to trick Lamento into thinking I have a Vista or XP? I'm sooo desperate ;n;

Someone helped with this recently actually, and I totally understand your pain T__T;; I wanted to re-play the Rai/Konoe route so badly, but gave up on trying to make the game work on my laptop lol.

saphirolf goes through the installation process in >>this thread<<.

It's apparently easy to get Lamento to work on Windows 7 32-bit, but I had some more trouble because I run 64-bit. I followed saphirolf's instructions to the letter and it worked :3

You are soooo amazing! Thank you so much! I was really worried that my sudden buy if a new laptop had cursed me to never be able to play Lamento... I feel like I can finally breathe again~ xD

I'm definitely spending the rest of the night working on this~ LOL
