A lose codec pack doesn't work because the filters were not turned on in Windows Movie Maker itself. Al though why would you want the entire pack for K-lite; for WMM you only need a few.
I don't know if it will work though, I never use WMM.
CCCP - Combined Community Codec PackThe file E:\alefba\AVSEQ01.avi cannot be imported because the codec required to play the file is not installed on your computer. If you have already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart Windows Movie Maker, and then try to import the file again.
But I have solved it, you want to know how? ok. read below:
1-open movie maker
2-go to the tools — >optins menu.
3-go to the compatibility at the above of window.
4- at the filter box, check the “ffdshow mpeg-4 video decoder”
5- push “ok” bottom.
6-import your .avi video and enjoy it.
For the codecs.
Windows movie maker is very limited when it comes to loading in video's, it doesn't read a lot of files that other programs do. If this does not work then use a video converter.
If your subs disappear in the normal player after installing it;
If you play the video make sure subs are turned on under I think the tab Play -> subtitles
If not;
