Sound driver ...

My sound driver is dead, I can't seem to find a reliable DL to fix it and I am going slowly nuts over this this. (Music nerd needs music or she bites off her own foot)

Help? Points in it for you? I has many.

The driver is dead?
For updating ym drivers I use Driver Genius Professional Edition, though not the "official" one.
Normally if anything happened to the driver I would just enter the CD of the soundblaster or anything alike and reinstall it (this I did whenever I got the bathroom sound effect on an older computer).
If no CD I would suggest Driver Genius, it looks up your parts downloads the drivers you need and installs them one by one. It allows you to skip that horror of driver webpages with their huge amount of drivers and whacky numbers.
You can run it and select the audio driver from the list.
Driver genius allows you to make a driver back up as well, I would advice that before running the downloads.

What's not working then? All the sound or some devices?
If devices you mean boxes with usb plug instead of the usual green one for audio only? (I ask because usb audio boxes should be banned: I updated my drivers and they stopped working and even other brands wouldn't work as long as they had usb entry plugs)
