Greetings, I've been spending quite some time trying to google the info. but I wasn't successful at finding the info I wanted. :'(

Anyways, any recommendation for a good/affordable brand of a
Laptop Keyboard Skin Protector that fits a 17.5'?
& where would you recommend getting the product? Amazon?

I would try Ebay but make sure the seller has good rep. You could compare to Amazon or any place that has an online store. I'm not sure about brands as I don't use one on my laptop. Love the sig !

did you try your local computer shops ??..not the big department stores they are too expense on everything there ... the added benefit your shop can have the item in stock and in many see-through colors or clear...there are different styles too ...by keyboard model(has bumps for the letter/number keys to fit) or a basic form fitting sheet which fits over the entire key board,I ask at a local shop... they'll be able to help you and maybe even get exactly what you need
