    problem with animated gif on win7

    Does anyone know how I can view animated gifs without opening IE to view it? The window photo viewer shows the animated gif as a still photo.

    As far as I know with Windows 7 Photo Viewer you can see it just as a still. To view animations you can use your browser or other compatible image editing softwares.

    i really luv my win7 but the photo viewer, the old version worked so well -.-
    i'd recommend IrfanView - small, fast and including basic editing tools

    Sorry, I've had this issue too and it's annoying as hell. But I just set the default program for gif extentions to be my browser...
