Ipod Touch 2nd Gen.

So basically about a month ago I had an accident with my ipod touch 2nd generation. It didn't turn on at all after a little juice got in it. I tried the rice thing etc. Seemed to do something. It never turned on again except for the itunes logo and a usb icon. Now after a month this appears:



It's stuck on that, charging it or even plugging it to my computer won't do anything. It's just stuck like that. What do I do? Is there a way to undo that? I still have my warranty until the end of this month, and does anyone know if Apple will cover that or how much would I be paying to get it fixed?

My second problem is my computer. I basically turn it off when I go to bed and then no more than 3-4 minutes later it turns on back by itself. I thought maybe I had pressed the restart button or something but it's been doing this the whole week. I turn it off, it turns back on, and so on until my only option is to pull the plug out. I did it through Task Manager too to shut down but it keeps turning on! Why is that happening? It's never done that before? How do I fix it?

Get your Iphone back to the store, it si no use trying to fix something that got juice on the inside specially not an Apple product (open it and you can kiss waranty goodbye). If it is unresponsive then there is little you can do. Make up a story that it was raining hard and you had it in your coat and the darn thing got soaked together with the clothing and now doesn't work.

The connections inside needed to function are most likely broken and cannot be replaced by anyone 'cept for the company who makes them.

As to your computer, first piece of advice do not leave it plugged in all the time. Reasons: even when turned off the computer uses power, the motherboard light remains active, there are also nasty virusses out there that remain infectant because the moderboard still receieves power. I have.. what do yo call them: you plug a socket in with multiple sockets stacked together and an on/off switch as well as a power stop in case of short circuits int he house.

Your computer starting up can be caused by many reasons, could be a virus but in many cases it is the Bios. How to fix:

Hello:When a computer mysteriously does this, it's a BIOS issue.
You typically enter BIOS by restarting your computer and
immediately pressing the Delete key repeatedly until you
enter the BIOS Utility Screen (usually in blue). The fix
is fairly easy.

1. Once in BIOS, go to Power Options
(refer to the owner's manual if you do not know where it is).

2. Scroll down to Wake On LAN and/or Wake On Ring
and change them to Disable. This will prevent Scroll
down to Wake on LAN and / or Wake on Ring and Change
them to DISABLE
This will prevent the computer from being able to come
out of its power down mode whenever the phone rings or
if LAN activity occurs
3)Once on Bios go to to Power Management, then to Resume by PCI PME and disabled that as well

Press F10 and choose YES to save settings and exit. Restart your System.
