Low internet connetion on wireless.

Hi

I try to explain my problem the best I can.
It started about 10 days ago. When I'm downloading something it's realy low ( about 20 kb/s or lower) but:
- only between 4pm-12am (monday-friday)
- only between 12 pm-12am on weekends
- only when I'm downloading from host links
- direct download works fine (about 100-130 kb/s)

What more? I have windows vista, IE 7, I haven't instaled any new firewall or any other thing. And I didn't change my internet provider.
I don't know if this has any connetion but it all started after megaupload upgrade (no more letters).

I will apreciate any help.

My suggestion is that you should check your ISP. It seems they limited your speed in certain hours.
My ISP limits the downloads at night, so I only download during the day.

Thank you for this suggestion. I also thought it could be this.
I'm going to call them tomorrow and ask about it. I have limitless internet connetion (I'm paying a lot for it every month damn it) so they shouldn't just change the rules out of the blue.

Maybe they're really doing traffic shaping. My ISP does that, I must encrypt the torrents' or I just can't download. If you're downloading torrents, try to use a client that has encryption features like uTorrent.
If you call them and ask if they're doing that, they'll just deny like all ISP...

They doing it for sure. It's 12.11 am here and my connetion is flying (100 kb/s and getting higher).
If they not change it I'm gonna call them every single day.

I still have this problem and it getting worse. Now I can download only at 6-10 kb/s speed. From 11 am till early morning.
I talked with my internet provider. Of course "all is fine". Well it's not.
And also it's only like that on megaupload and mediafire. Sometimes on direct. I wrote to both hosts but they didn't answer.
Do you see any other solution? Please.

Do you use a modem? Can you access the modem's interface?

A little update:
Some guy from my ISP was today, checked my computer and said that everything is ok. But he was at 11 am when the transfer is still good.
So I was reserching all day and now I'm sure that's megaupload and mediafire fault. They blocking my IP or something. Is it possible?
I'm going crazy.
