Pen/Tablet Writing Program & Another prob.

Okay, I've had my tablet & pen (Wacom) for a while now, and wanted to know if there is a program like Tablet PC Input Panel. I have it for my laptop, and tried using it for my computer, but keep getting 'not a valid Win32 application'. So is there a program for my computer? I have a Windows XP Compaq 2002 Computer, so pretty please help me?

Also, I have a nasty problem with my computer again. There are two other accounts on my computer besides my own. I logged into one of those two accounts and realized that every single program there couldn't load properly or load at all! Every single program has that icons that usually appears when a computer can't identify it. These programs open and work every day on my account or the other one, except for the one I'm talking about. The computer can't seem to find FF, IE, iTunes, nothing. I thought it might have been because the account has no administrator authority or something, but my sister used it the day before and none of this happened. I asked if she did something and she replied no. Why do I keep getting something like 'not a valid Win32 application' and 'errors' to programs I've been using for years? Can this be due to a virus or something? There is no internet connection on that side either, I can't seem to solve the mystery of the non-existing application ^^;

I'm no computer expert but, have you try updating the computer? and also check if the computer is 32-bit or 64-bit, the program might be for 32-bit and your computer might be 64-bit. hope this help!

Try also a clean up to the computer (disk clean up) is not relate it but for some reason this can help too.

No, my computer is 32 bit, that's what I can't understand why it keeps sending out the 'valid 32 application' messages for.

For your tablet, do you have an installation disc? You should install the tablet through the disc. I think it should work; I use to use my tablet on my desktop and it worked fine. And with the different account users, when you installed the programs from the admin account, did you allow the program to install for all users or just the admin user? If it was only installed in the admin user account then it probably won't open if you log on to different accounts or guest account.

A disk came with it, I installed it for all accounts, it works in all three just fine. I'm still having a problem with that other account, no virus etc. seems to be making it do that. I got in fine and then this appears:

When I opened My Documents and iTunes, it appeared several more times and froze everything on the screen. The taskbar disappears completely and then the following message displays itself when I wanted to sync some music into an ipod:

iTunes was unable to load data class information from sync services. Reconnect or try again later.

What now?

Hm, it COULD be a virus...just in case...

Go here and download this: Avast! Anti-virus
- this is a great anti virus protection and it is free :] it will auto block in harmful sites you go to and it has up-to-date virus protection. Also it can run scans so that is a plus :]

For back up, I also suggest: Malwarebytes
- This is is also a good program to have (I have both). I run avast first and then do a follow up scan with malware. So try it out and see if either picks up anything.

As for your tablet...try going to the wacom site (Wacom Hardware Drivers) and download your tablet driver (select in the drop down menus). If that does not work, try doing a system restore. (I just recently had to do this for my tablet and it works fine now)

System restore should be in your start menu (i'm not sure, I have vista and I know it's totally different). Pick a date that's roughly a week or so back. Preferably before you installed your tablet (if it lets you go back far enough :]) It may take awhile. Once that is done, go to the wacom site, get your driver, install and try plugging in your tablet and trying it out.

If you run it on photoshop, make sure your brush settings are on 'pen pressure' (brush palette > shape dynamics > first drop menu: pen pressure | other dynamics > both drop menus: pen pressure - this is my set up)

As for your ipod/itunes I ran a search and several sources said to follow the steps on this page: iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: How to restart the Apple Mobile Device Service (AMDS) on Windows

If you have further troubles, browse this thread and check out what others did: Apple - Support - Discussions - iTunes was unable to load dataclass ...

1. Uninstall all Apple programs except Safari. This includes apple updater, apple mobile device, itunes, and some networking program called BonJour.

2. Turn off all firewalls.

3. Download iTunes 7.7 and save it on your desktop.

4. Right click itunesetup.exe and select "run as administrator".

Once you do this, you shouldn't get any errors and iTunes will recognize your phone. I choose to restore it from an earlier back-up and I got all my contacts and notes back too! -itunes thread
