Need help finding a new ISP

So I've been offline for a looong time due to horrible personal issues, however now I finally have my own place again. I am looking for a reliable, fairly inexpensive ISP.

I live in Saint Louis, Missouri, in the United States.

So please keep in mind that if you have any suggestions, please make sure that they are viable in that service area.

I'd like DSL, and would like it at least 1.5 mbps - 3.0 mbps. I previously had AT&T, Earthlink, and Cricket, all horrible horrible companies. I have tried Comcast, however after the rude, pushy representative(who would not take no for an answer, and eventually I just hung up on), I decided to opt out.

I've heard good things about CLEAR, but are they any better than Cricket? They seem the same.

Yes, I have, however everything people seem to be focused on is price. I have found no help at all because all of the top companies have incredibly bad service which I have previously stated and everyone involved seems to have useless information for me. Those forums also have scouter posters from the companies themselves, and as such are completely unreliable.

Which is why I'm here.

If you are having problems with privacy, you should try using VPN.

Choose a cheap fast network and than use VPN on top of it. VPN means Virtual Private Network. It annonymizes your IP so nobody knows who you are, what you're doing, or where your from.

Hmm. I'm not from St. Louis, but I get my internet from Time Warner and it's decent. I googled Time Warner with your city and found this website.
