uninstalling a program >.<

alright, after installing chinese star on my comp, it keeps hanging and restarting,
so i decided to uninstall it,
but whenever i try to go to program and features, it hangs,
whenever i go to program files, it hangs as well,
i've tried in both safe mode and normal mode;p

someone, help me

I'm not too sure if this would help( or you have tried it before) but I normally uninstall chinese star using the add/remove program feature via control panel.

unfortunately, i can't even access the add/remove program in control panel >.<;p

Which version of Windows are you running?

windows 7 >.<;p
now, whenever i try to open something which has chinese characters in it, or chinese files in it, it hangs >.<
(including chinese text doc, start menu all program, chinese web pages etc >.<)

Hmm, that's a tough one. o_o I know XP SP3 had some issues with Cstar, but I haven't seen anyone complaining for 7. The only thing I can think to recommend at this point would be a cleaner/uninstall program for Windows.. something 3rd party that will remove the program. >_< If you're even able to install it.

You might just want to restore your computer to an earlier state. That is pretty easy to do.

i'll try out the uninstall cleaners now;p
i tried, but for some reason, there weren't any prestore points to restore to

alright, chinese star has been uninstall, but i still can't access chinese stuff, and the comp hangs every time i try to open something chinese or the likes >.<

finally, fataltea's answer helped me delete the program, but in the end, it was bf to the rescue
