Computer Account Problems

I'm having problems with my computer. There are two accounts: the main account and the another account. The other account that I made is doing fine - the user can access all the programs fine and all. However, on the main account (my account), I can no longer access mostly all the programs there, even I can't see the sub-categories of the Library, open the MS Word properly, the Sticky Note function, ejecting the Flash Drives inserted in the computer, etcetera. Right now I'm using the other account that I created. My sister was suggesting of creating another account and delete the main account one. The question is, what will happen if the main account was deleted?? Or are there any other ways to resolve this problem? I was thinking of re-formatting the whole computer. Please help me....

Do you get any error message at all?

Yes. It was telling me something along the lines of "path error"... I forgot D: I think it's my own fault too that this happened. I was transferring some files to the other without "Log Off" and "Log In" option, or so my sister explained to me.

Try this :

Start > Run > regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\jscript.dll and
regsvr32 /i c:\windows\system32\shell32.dll
one at the time

I assume you are on xp

Will it still work even I'm using Windows 7...?

Give the exact error message then. It should pop-up every time you access the said account
