I finally got my paws on a second monitor and really desperately need to get it functioning for an upcoming college course - but I can't seem to make my stupid computer cooperate. D:
When I bought this PC it came with an onboard NVIDIA GeForce 6150 SE, but at the time, I was doing a lot of gaming and needed something far more powerful.. so a friend gave me a GeForce 7600 GT and I installed it and everything was peachy.
However, I eventually pitched out the Vista that came bundled with the PC and replaced it with 7 Ultimate, and ever since then, Windows doesn't detect the onboard video adapter. All it sees is the 7600 - which didn't bother me until I needed that other slot.
My question is - how do I make Windows recognize the onboard card? I've tried looking it up, but everyone seems to have the opposite problem from mine. XD Of course.
EDIT: Nevermind, I'm a freakin' ditz.. the 7600 has a second port and I didn't have the right bracket on to see it.... ^^;; uh... Mod please feel free to delete this thread.
