Graphic Tablet

Hi..
Un, ok.
I got myself a graphic tablet today [Yay and hooray and all that]
The problem is that since I've never used , touched , or known anyone who's used a tablet.I don't know if my tablet is acting strangely..or it's just the lack of my knowledge about it.
Sooo, I'm deciding to you guys who have tablets to help me out a bit ^^
Here is what the tablet does that I think is strange.

- The pointer runs on its own inside my computer Ex: opening , closing, moving stuff around that I'm not commanding.
- When I hover the pen above the tablet, the pointer inside the computer moves.I don't even need to touch the pen to the tablet and it's already doing stuff on its own.

Ok that's all I can think of now...might add more later .
The mark of the tablet is called " C3 Tech" I doubt anyone would know because it's a Brazilian brand and the American brands here cost an arm and a leg so don't tell me buy a better one. -.-
If it is malfunctioning , I'll be returning the thing.

I've gotten a tablet quite recently so I'm still learning, but I'm pretty sure it's normal for the pointer on the screen to move when the pen hovers over it, mine does too. About the pointer acting crazy and doing stuff on its own, it might have to do with tablet properties. I can't really help because I don't know the table you work on, though.

the moving when you're not touching the pad with the pen is normal.
now as to opening things, you are probably touching the pad with the pen:

if you double tap with the pen while your cursor is on an icon then it is the same as a normal mouse click, double tap = left mouse click. So then you open the file or whatever so remember that.
The clickable button on the pen itself it your right mouse click, but all that should be adjustable it is for mine.. though it has been a while since I've done that... sometimes you have a Tablet folder under your start -> programs that or try and see if it is in your Control Panel

I see the file, I'm not quite sure that to adjest. When I move the cursor around on the tablet , inside my computer starts of open files on its own. I don't need to be pressing any button at all. Just trying to move the cursor to a destination , or trying to draw something in photoshop will cause the cursor to run and erase or drag or even close photoshop with out my doing.

so hoovering is like moving the mouse and touching the tablet is like right click (or what you set it on in your options)

the sudden closing and stuff like that can have two reasons:

- if you have buttons on the sides of your tablet it's easy to touch them without noticing..these buttons are normally set on back/forth and scrolling/zooming


- also...if your mouse is also on the desk and it's connected it can happen that you move the mouse with your elbow without realizing and then ofc the pointer moves
so taking the mouse a bit away from your arm helps in this case

if you installed your tablet properly then there should be a tablet icon somewhere in your start menu or in your programms. if you open that you should be able to change options and functions of buttons.
also try deinstalling and reinstalling of the tablet driver if it's none of the points above.

if none of this helps...it's broken

Oh!. It has buttons?!
I didn't know what, well actaully I can't see anyone on my tablet.It's..blank.Well actaully it's black...at first it looks like it's off , but if you move the mouse close by it moves on the comp screen. I do have a icon, but it doesn't have a setting or properties file.But I'm going to move the one in control panel.

Their not buttons, like...real buttons that stick up a bit, their like..touch screen buttons.
I wouldnt doubt that it has no buttons, it wasnt that expensive Q_Q.
