The problem only occur on my laptop.

It's so annoying. Do I seriously need to purchase the full version of adobe in order to view the pdf file?

What is the version of adobe PDF did you download?

You may have download the full version, the latest free version is Adobe Read 9.3 which can be downloaded here.

You should remove the one in your computer and install the free version.

if you just want to view pdf files, you just need the free version of Adobe Reader... you can download it from the link in the post above^^
keep in mind that you can not create .pdf files just with a free version of Adobe Reader installed.

This seems to be connected with Adobe Reader 8. Try upgrading the version with a clean install of the latest version

hello, there are many ways you can adopt to view pdf document, don't really necessary to use just one tool. go through the web, you will find a lot of software that can be used to read pdf document.
