The situation is this: I log in on messenger and after 5 or 10 seconds after it logs me out and it takes me back to the log in page...it's pissing me off ¬¬ 'cause I've already scanned the pc out for viruses and stuff and the icq keeps fine

If any of you know the solution for that PLEASE help me >_<

Probably the MSN servers are acting funny again - one of the reasons why I quit using MSN. They usually turn back to normal in a day or two.

I thought these kind of problems would be only with the person's pc...can that happen with the servers?O.o first time I hear of that '-'

I've seen this happens countless times. The servers keep kicking everybody out. Bad connection maybe? Then as soon as the Microsoft team fix it, it works normally again.

Ok, in order to test if it's the actual software you have or if it's their server go to another website that allows you to use msn (like meebo).
Try to log in. If you can do so normally then it's the msn software you have of msn. If that's the case then just update it. If you still can't long on for a long time then it's probably their server and you just have to wait it out Although I'm a long time msn user and had no issues with it at all today. In fact, I'm on there right now

Also you can set up msn to auto log you in if you get a newer version this way if you do get logged out you'll just relog in without having to type anything in again ect.

I haven't had this issue recently, but I have a good connection. I do know when I was using my wireless conection before it would give me probblems. If you're using a wireless router turn off all the computers in your home that are networked to if if any, then go to it and SAFTELY remove it by either A. Telling the computer you're going to remove it by finding the icon for it, or B. turning of the computer and then taking it out.

I have Charter for my internet, and somedays charter actually messes up and my connection gets shot a bit. So if the wireless isn't your immidient problem, when this occurs call your internet provider and ask if they are having some server issues.

Do you use any firewall? I had that kind of problem with ZoneAlarm once.

im on messanger right now, i don't really know what the problem is but, you think your internet connection is right? or you can try troubleshooting

well,since my patience is already gone i've decided to kinda give up on msn XDDDD...i'm starting to try on some different programs '-' such as trillian,nothing to complain 'till now \o/
