poster meant if you have 2 discs inside your computer. not the drives, you can have one disc and split it up to two drives (drives -> c:/ and d:/)
Though I think you have only one.
Several things that can cause and fix it, might be that there is a cable lose inside the PC the one connecting your harddisc to your motherboard
For Bios, you can get there right when you start your computer. I don't remember it exactly what keys you use since I have only had to use it once
I do advice you to not mess around with the settings in the bios, be careful with what you do and only change if you absolutely certain. What you want to check in Bios is give boot priority to drive C:/ or at least your main windows disc
