uwah... scary!
my computer had lots of viruses in the past, so i gotta be more careful now too.
thanks for the advice!
thanks for the warning! I'll make sure to be careful but I have a pretty tough kick-ass anti-virus. But still..i'll be careful.
thank you so much for the info
I'll be looking out for my PC
I also had this reposted to warn other users
thanks again
Thanks for the information, but I had this as well.
Fortunately, I could reboot it early enough to prevent this scan to take over my computer. but 2 weeks later, it broke down. :/
Now I'm warned... O_o
Who actually falls for this again?
I found this to be quite helpful. My computer apparently has this, but I'm going to have someone I know fix it for me, since don't want to mess mine up. I'm currently on my brothers laptop, but at least I can tell my computer fixing friend more about what is wrong with my desktop computer... and I need to update my antivirus software, but he knows what is the real thing and what isn't... I did have Malwarebyte's before but the subscription for it ran out so I think that's why mine became infected with the antivirus soft. Ugh. Luckily I didn't fall for buying it, since I only trust that which I've used before... but really annoying, since he can't look at it until Monday or Tuesday so I can't turn mine on to work on my stories and outlines uu;
Isn't it common sense not to click on the download button on a pop-up... It has come up several times for me, and not once have i clicked download.
My sister on the other hand, has barely any computer knowledge and downloaded it onto her laptop... It was ****ed for a long time, and she ended up taking it to a specialist to sort out. Sorry if u downloaded it, but come on... It's a website saying it has scanned your computer for virus's rofl. Unless you have a really bad computer, u need to consent to a website accessing your files.
