About LinkBacksI just came home and found out my external hard disk is no longer accesible. After a quick google I found some programs that dealt in Data recovery like VirtualLab and GetData back. I want to know of either of these are reliable or if there's anyhting else I can try or do to get my data back.

You can try those, see at Softpedia their score and if they're spyware free.
But, the best way, is to pay a Company to recover the data for you.
