Direct download opens up instead of getting a save as link

This is a quick messy fix, but it worked for me when I had the windows media problem. Basically Windows media is trying to play everything all at once because it is most likely the default media player and .avi is under its domain so to speak. What I did was go into Windows media > tools > options > filetypes. Then uncheck the box nect to .avi file. You will still be able to play .avi files in windows media by going to file > open > Sukiyo12. etc, however Windows media won't be the default player for it.
I recommend getting a less demanding player as your default media player so this doesn't happen with other file types as well. I like the Core Media player it has a good range of codecs as well. If you have another media player such as the core media player I recommend changing it's filetypes to include .avi that way when you go to open the file ie. Sukisyo02 it will open immediately in player and you won't have to go through the trouble of opening it separately.

I was having problems with downloading. Cause I click on the link and it starts downloading through torrent. But once it's completed, i go to open it...and its only text. (the file is only 20kbs, like a word document) Where'd the video go? Please help the noob.

hi okay i just got on this site today and i usually can figure things out with the assistance from the website and looking for all the right buttons...but this site is very confusing for me....i cant figure out how to download anything so if some one can help me that would be great....i would like to post things and stuff like that but its kinda hard when i dont know how^_^

I can get anything to download at all. I'm using IE and tried to download some stuff today and nothing is working. I get the WMP to come up and then nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?

Also, when the WMP doesn't come up a, a new window opens and I get this weird text on the top, and then nothing happenings. I have no clue. Do you need to download a program or something?
Any help will be greating appreciated!!

Ok. I go to Download Links from the index page and tried to get stuff from Miko server. I tried to download Sensitivie Pornograph, but it wouldn't work. I also tried doiz server and had the same problem. That's about it.
Thanks for trying to help and sorry for nt getting back sooner. My computer was down for a few days.

I just remebered something, though this might not work (trying at the mo) right click and save as target... do not complain! This is first time downloading for me so I'm trying anything that will work.
