Audio is not working.

Like the title says. One day I turned the computer on and tried to play some music...and no sound!
The speakers are on and the volume is up on the playlist and speaker. I dunno what's goin' on. A little help?

did you go into your audio mixer to make sure nothing is muted?

you have windows? if you do, go down to the little speaker.. when you click it, there should be a button that says 'mixer' click it, and a little panel will open.. make sure nothing is muted there first

Oh, it's not muted.

did you try going to your control panel and checking in the audio part for a speaker test?

Checked it, everything all un-muted.
Not sure how to do a speaker check though. Care to explain?

Hm, maybe the audio devices are disabled?
Right clock on "My Computer" -> Click "Properties" -> "Hardware" -> "Device Manager" ->"Sound, Video and game controllers" then see if the devices that shows below are all enabled (should not have a yellow/red icon beside it, if so right click on the icon and click enable)

If you double click on the little speaker icon make sure that your wave is all the way up and not down cause tat is one common problem
