Adobe Photoshop CS

Hi, I'd been using adobe photoshop cs for a long time & this problem I have, hasn't happen to me before. Anyways, I was trying to drag the .png I was gonna use onto a pre-set sig when "BOOM" a message appear stating it will lower the quality of the pic. o-o; WTH?

(The red arrow shows that I was trying to drag it into the white box when the message box appeared)

So anyone knows the solution to my problem?
Am I even making any sense?
Hope someone can help me out here. It's kind of annoying to have the thing pop up every time I want to move the render (or w/e you call it).
And, I dont want the image to be lowered than it already is.

The message is pretty explanatory I think. Try to adapt the settings of what you want to do to the material you're using

It doesn't lower the quality of the photo! That's happened to me a lot and the quality doesn't change!

How are you trying to move???
Do you copy and past??? or just do that???
or if that don't do try to open in Image ready and try to copy and past do CS3

This problem appears when you try to drag a 16bits .png to an 8bits document. No worries, everything's fine. You can change this settings in Image > Mode.
