Silver Chaos II installation problems

I downloaded the files for Silver Chaos II Artificial Mermaid and I followed all of the directions to install it but I can't seem to apply the English patch.

I always get the message "Silver Chaos is not installed" when I click patch.

I uninstall and reinstall a thousand times and it hasn't worked. I also redownloaded the game from a couple different sources.

I did apply the 1.2 update before I tried to apply the English patch.

Also when one installs the game you choose from a few options asking what install you want, and the instructions say to choose the option in which 600mb is in the dialogue box below it. I only get/have 555mb, 345mb, and 100mb options. Could this be my problem?

Hmm...are you sure the English patch is for Silver Chaos II: Artificial Mermaid? As far as I know, it does not exist yet. ( I might be wrong though...^^; ) Can you direct us where you got it? This will be helpful in reproducing the same problem.

That was the problem.

A website had mis-labeled the patch as Silver Chaos II.
