I'm not sure about the HD versions, but you could use either file2share.com OR what I use... the veoh downloader. It sits in the bottom right corner of your window and it'll say "X videos." When there's a video to download like off of youtube, it'll pop up, and you can download it. The videos I download off of youtube usually just go on my ipod or phone so I'm not sure whether you can get them in HD, but... yeah.

This link may help you out. If you embed the HD version somewhere else and go through there, maybe you could download...
Also, some of the youtube videos now you can buy for I think a buck ninety-nine so those probably come in HD.
Those are my only suggestions.
You can try the suggestion in this post => How to Download 720p High Definition YouTube Videos | Chris Pirillo

I use the addon DowloadHelper for Firefox and it works.
Well, I don't know if you can download HQ Youtube videos with this method, but I'll still say it:
in the youtube link which looks like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aPKzB8Cieyw, just replace the www. with link. This will give you this: http://linkyoutube.com/watch?v=aPKzB8Cieyw. It will brings you to a website where you can download the video. Works pretty well for my videos, except that I didn't try it with HQ videos. Oh well, the quality is good enought for my Archos...
This is an easy one.
^^ Put the address of the youtube video here, check the Agree To Terms checkbox and click the "movies" option and hit the "Get Files" Button.
File2HD.com
You'll know which link to download.

I use mediaconverter.org
Thank you to everyone who answered! The video/website about embedding it somewhere or using the bookmarklet didn't work for me. Same for orbitdownloader. The youtube downloader and the addon worked fine. The method by StackOverflow had the minimum work involved. The other methods by xchopsticks and Shigure² worked great also.
