Installing Kichiku Megane

Hi I'm trying to install the game Kichiku Megane with no luck. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong but after I unzipped the file and tried to mount the games it kept showing me that the files are corrupted. I've already switched my computer to Japanese settings but the same thing still occurred. I tried downloading the files from different threads and also from the torrent thread (links below) but they all have the same problem. Can someone please help ;-;

It shows the files as being corrupt? If your files are corrupt, either you are missing parts, or your internet hasn't completely downloaded the files properly.

The first thread you link, the Game Thread, have you tried the MEGA links for both CD1 and CD2? MEGA has a way of downloading files, to make sure they aren't corrupt once they're done downloading.

Would you be able to take screenshots and post them here of any error messages you get? Also, try using 7-Zip as your unpacking tool of choice for zipped files.

I am also having the same problem as well and keep receiving a message through halfway of my download,

"Replace it with the disc of "Devil animal eye mirror R Disc2".
Please press the [OK] button when you have exchanged the disk.
If you cancel, the setup will be suspended."

The program I'm using to mount the disc is DAEMON Tools Lite.

Just follow the instructions carefully... (aka mount disc 1 FIRST then when it ask for disc 2 during halfway of setup, mount disc 2)

Heyy, so I mounted dics2 but when i click it and go to continue, it just... blinks then asks for disc 2 again? Any ideas?

Did you mount it in the original drive where you mounted Disc 1?

Also, what filesize is Disc 2? It should be 691,199 KB.

When Disc 2 is mounted, can you "Explore" the CD and see what's on it? Disc 2 basically contains the voice files for the game.

I forgot to put it in the same slot Xp But now I cannot get the ith for the translation software to catch all the kanji, so woo. Just ended the eng patch too, unfortunately.
Any clue on how to make it work better? I know I have to do some thinking to understand the translation, but I really wanna finish this game it's so good! Any help appreciated

Not sure if anyone would see this since it has been a while already, but when I unzip the files(four parts from disc 1 together) and then it gives me a folder with 3 unknown files inside). When I put any of them into daemon it only shows me a picture with a bunch of two buttons that has undefined codes(probably because I am using the newest windows?) on it. Does anyone know how to solve that problem?

I've just successfully installed the game after several errors. So first I followed these steps: download the MEGA files, unzip them using 7zip, mount disc 1 -> run exe file -> mount disc 2 -> click ok like everyone said. But the ok box still popped up. I fixed it by unmount disc 1 halfway, mount disc 2, click ok. Hope this helps!

If your files aren't working right, it's because you're missing parts or your internet didn't download them all correctly.
