Thanks for the help, but before I do so, how can I change the system back to english (or spanish, in my case)
Same as Saturn listed but then instead of Japanese you pick English or whatever Spanish tab it is set as right now...
What OS are you using?
Then it is the same steps, just instead of picking japanese you pick spanish or english.
Windows 7 made all this a lot easier.
Instructions for adding Japanese language support to XP are in the old sticky: http://aarinfantasy.com/forum/f49/t6...lling-any.html . You'll probably need a Windows install CD.
Sorry if I revive an old thread.
But for people who do better looking at pictures, this link explains it well for non-unicode programs (Shift-Jis)
How to change Language for non-Unicode programs in Windows
The English Patch for TnC is actually a 3-step process that starts with updating the game engine to Version 1.01. Second, an EXE for an Image Patch will need to be run. And then Thirdly, you need to copy the English script pack file into the folder. There should have been a PDF guide with the English Patch on how to apply everything.
Compare your install folder of TnC to a working folder like this one:

Make sure the file sizes are the same, and the files/folders are all there. ^_^ Hope that helps.
