Hotaru 3 - Installing / Running Problem

Hi...
I downloaded the Hotaru 3 game from http://aarinfantasy.com/forum/f152/t...otaru-3-a.html

I'm using Windows 7 (64bit version)
I can play Hotaru 1 and Hotaru 2 just fine...
How ever, I can't install / run Hotaru 3 game

In Windows 7, running the installer / game exe resulting a popup saying that the game isn't supported by 64bit version of Windows...


So, I download and use Virtual XP mode...
But I got problem running it in XP mode also..
Directly opening the file causing a DOS window to popup and flash a "Program too big to fit in memory"
[Opening the file using MS-DOS command displays the error]


I tot there's something wrong with the file I downloaded...
So I download the 3 parts version (the first one is 2partsx2parts version)
And the same problem still exists

Really need help to play with the game T______T

Did you try to;
>right click
>properties
>tab called compatibility
>run it as another compatibility mode

Yup...Still the same...
Both in windows 7 and XP mode...
Tried to run in using compatibility of earlier version of Windows... but to no avail

Yeah i have the same problem but the dos windown appear and disappear very quick also can't install the game. Is anyone can help plzzzzzzzzzzz

Ok... This thread is old..

I found out that there's a problem with the file I downloaded....
I found another installer copy that works well...

Well.. right now I'm on Win 8... the installed file still fails to run (due to compatibility issue, i guess)...
but I still manage to do the installation... (it's just that the game file cannot be executed)..

Run the game in a virtual box (with windows XP) and the game runs just fine :

I don't remember where I downloaded the file before.. But it's still in my Computer..
I'm currently running the game on a XP system to see it got problem or not before I uploads it :]
