Togainu No Chi - window stays in taskbar

Togainu No Chi installed fine, I have my computer set to Japanese, and the game starts - It just that after it starts, I can see that the window is there in the taskbar, but when I click it doesn't expand (or if I right click and minimize/restore, nothing happens)

The music starts after a few seconds of launching so I know it's working, I just can't get the window to appear. I also tried searching the forum but couldn't find help for this. Any ideas appreciated!

Ok shot in the dark.

Right click an empty space on your Taskbar and select "Start Task Manager". A window will pop up and select the "Applications" tab.

If TnC is really running and you see the icon there, right click it and select "Bring to Front".
