Laughter Land Patch

I just can't see to get it! I type everything in, and then the shortcut opens as something you would normally see when you save something. When I click open again, with the "open" button on the "save screen", it gives me unrecognizable symbols. Would someone please walk me through the process of using a No CD patch? I could also post screenshots if this is incomprehensible...

1) Are you running in Japan region and Japanese language? If not, please set it to that first.
2) Right click the .exe file and "run as administrator". In the window that pops up, go and fine your folder that you installed Laughter Land to. Probably something like "Program Files (x86)\Will\Laughter Land\". Select laughter.exe and hit okay. Small window should pop up- hit okay. Should be good to go.

If there are problems that pop, please continue to post what you did, when they happen and screencaps if possible.

I was running in language, but not region. I fixed that.

I didn't know you had to download to a specific file, so I was just using the one in hard drive.

Hm...it appears to be appearing as alphanumerials instead of ... well, normal Japanese. Is there any way to fix it?

I figured that out, but AGTH is droppings words. *sighs* With all this, maybe learning Japanese might be easier,
