There's also an Animate in Shibuya which I like to visit too, though it is way smaller than the Ikebukuro branch... but to me, this is the second best Animate to look for Japanese BL manga, BL Drama CD or BL merchandises. Less crowded here too.

As I am leaving either Shibuya or Ikebukuro (I forgot where exactly), this is the last bishie I saw at the train station. I believe he's a character from the latest popular game "Honkai: Star Rail" called Gepard.

So yeah... I guess that's all for my mini BL Tokyo trip. Most of the time I am unable to take pictures due to the crowd and only able to take pics where it is allowed. Do give my posts LIKES if you seen them on my social media, so that I know you have read or like these kinda contents too.

I forgot to post about the food that I had at Shibuya which I'd like to recommend to everyone too.

There's a sushi place called "Uogashi Nihonichi Standing Sushi Bar" (Shibuya Dogenzaka Branch). This is a casual place where you eat by standing, there are no seats but their sushi is good value for the quality you get. Green tea and water are free. I've included picture of the menu, they have English menu and all chefs can understand English. Just order the sushi you want from your counter as you eat. If you come early, it's possible for 4-6 people group too as most people dine alone or 2 people.

If you are wondering why it is standing only... this is because it is meant to be quick grab of food so people can get in and out fast but it is perfectly fine for you to take your time eating, as long as you aren't tired from standing . If you can't eat anything too raw, go for the Aburi (flame seared) ones or cooked sushi like Unagi (eel), Tamago (egg), Kani (crab) or Avocado.

I went there on a weekday morning, at 11am just before they open, no queue but it gets filled up fast since it's a small place.

Thank you for sharing pics and thoughts from your trip! I went to Ikebukuro Animate in my last trip to Japan and I thought the store was massive, can't believe they expanded it further!

Not exactly a Skyy2 Cafe, but more like a collaboration of Skyy2 items sold there with Gratte Cafe. For this time, it is some food items and if I am not mistaken, there are small prints given out or something like that.

Oeh, nice to see so many photos of your trip. Thanks for sharing. It has been years since I went to Japan, so I know that quite a lot has changed, so any news related to my interests is always welcome to see! (Saw you mentioned Caffe Veloce, that was really my favourite place to go after a shopping trip, haha)
