You can disable the big onion head smilies in your user control panel (settings).
On the left column, under My Account, select General Settings.
Under Thread Display Options, select yes for the below:

Disable Onion Head Smilies?:
- No
- Yes
Do you want to disable onion head smilies from showing up in posts, blogs, etc?
How do I post onion head smilies? I dunno how to use that ...
When you type your message, you need to select the smileys. You do this by clicking on the "More" button at the bottom of the smileys display

Just wondering, is it just me or it seems like they change position each time I click on the "more" button?? :huh:
Cause each time I try looking for the same smiley, I have to re-go through them since I can't seem to locate it :o

To use a smiley/emoticon when you type a message/reply, there are some smilies on the right of the reply window. You can click on them if you want to use one of them. Or click on "More" to choose other smilies. Once you click on "More", a new window opens up-> you can scroll down and see all the available smilies. Click on any smiley that you want and it will be inserted in your message.Quote:
