• Reputation in its simpliest form is a ranking of the user's benefit to the forum. Its basis comes from the opinions of all of the forum users that have choosen to take part in it. Users gain reputation based on how their posts are scored by other forum participants. Users with the ability to affect reputation, will give points by approving with a post's content.

NOTE: Negative reputation is disabled for regular forumers. Only Staff can give negative reputation points.
The reputation system consists of two parts: Reputation Points & Reputation Power.
To see this information in your account go to your Settings and there you'll see: Latest Reputation Received and Latest Reputation Given (Rep Power: ###)
Reputation Points (Latest Reputation Received)
These are the 'Thanks' you received from forumers when they click on the 'Thanks' button of one of your posts or the reputation received when someone gave you reputation by clicking on the star of one of your posts• Majority of forumers refer to the reputation points as 'rep'.
• Default reputation points when you sign-up: 10
Reputation Given (Rep Power)
By gaining reputation points you'll gain more reputation power, that is, the ability to affect other members' reputation with even more reputation points. The more reputation power you have, the more reputation points other's will receive when you click the reputation button on their posts• Remember that you won't lose reputation points from your total reputation points when 'repping' or 'Thank' someone.
• Rep power is limited to 150 maximum
Factors that affect reputation
- Register Date Factor: 30
- For every 30 number of days, users gain 1 point of reputation power.
- Post Count Factor: 100
- For every 100 number of posts, users gain 1 point of reputation power.
- Reputation Point Factor: 100
- For every 100 points of reputation received, users gain 1 point of reputation power.
Other things to know
- Daily Reputation Clicks Limit : 10
- How many reputation clicks can a user give over each 24 hour period? Administrators are exempt from this limit.
- 'Thanks' clicks are unlimited
- Reputation User Spread: 5
- How many different users must you give reputation to before you can hit the same person again? Administrators are exempt from this limit.
Reputation status icons
- 5 dark coloured boxes = Starts with 1 free box till 500 reputation points total, 100 rep points each box.
- 5 medium coloured boxes: Starts at 500 till 1500 reputation points total, 200 rep points each box.
- 5 light coloured boxes: Starts at 1500 till 6500 reputation points total, 1000 rep points each box.
- 1 bee = 6500 reputation points total, 6500 rep points each bee.
