How do I customize my profile page?

The Profile customization function is accessible via the profile page:
* “Welcome, user”>> Customize My Profile
* or My Profile >> Customize My Profile

(1) When editing the profile customization characteristics, it is possible to select specific colour code for backgrounds, borders and fonts, and also to chose specific images and their behaviour for sections backgrounds.

(2) To select a colour for font, background or border, select it on the palette: click on the colour box to open the palette or enter the hexa code if you know it

(3) To select a background image, click on the colour box and select the image from the appropriate album (all background images shall be uploaded first in a photo album)

(4) Each time a change is made, it is reflected on the page. However, the changes are definitive only if the profile is saved.

I read detailed customization information but I still can't figure out how to put pictures above post box. Could please explain how it's done?

To add a picture in the beginning of the profile, right after the profile title and above the postbox:

- Go to "settings"
- Select "edit profile"
- there is a box called "Profile Intro Text:"
Put there the image code using forum tags [img] path of the image [/img]

This will make the "profile banner" appear at the top of your profile page.

It must work, is how we are all doing it. Maybe you made a mistake with the code?
Try to write some random text in the Profile Intro Text box to see if appears. You need to save after make the alterations.

Thank you so much for this article! I know my profile says I've been here since 2011, but I was pretty inactive until a few days ago, and the way to customise your profile is completely different so when I saw it, I was like, "wut.." But this helped a lot, so thank you~

Mine didn't work either. I tried to put random text in and it still didn't show up on my profile page.

Sorry if this is a silly suggestion, but did you fill out the Profile Intro Title as well? If it's blank, it doesn't apply what you put in the intro text box above the postbox (at least that has been my experience).
