@User Tagging - Mention & Quote

In June 11' a new feature was added to keep track of user tagging (check link for reference)

There are two (2) ways to tag a user:

1. Mentioning the user in a message: @User
2. Quoting a user

1. Mentioning a user is done by

• Using the mention tag in the Editor
• Typing @User ; (replace user by the exact username)

2. Quoting a user is done by using the Reply with quote function in a post quoting.PNG

3. Retrieving your notifications
When a user is quoted or mentioned, a notification is sent. The mentions and quote notices can be retrieved from the Profile page, under the Mention and Quote tab-pages

It is possible to edit the user tagging behaviour. You can decide when you will be alerted depending on who made the mention/quote and if you want to view the related alert or not.
In the Settings, go to My Settings >> User Tagging >> Settings

Great!! I was just wondering how to do that recently, since I just did @User before and nothing happened and I was like "wut? Am I doing something wrong?"
