the good thing to get from that is that we'll see Brazil vs Argentina in the playoff for the third place, of course that if Brazil could come off and recover from today's blow, then we'd be able to watch such a game .... I wonder

Losing this game was the best thing that ever happened to my country. Now the politicians in the government wouldn't be able to use the world cup to re-elect themselves. I'm very pleased. Brazil have no recover, it's going to lose on saturday too.

I'm not being pessimistic, footbal is not the most important thing in a country, health, transportation, education, etc, are the most important things. I'm thinking in the long run what would be the best to my country. Lose the World Cup is the best in the long run. Lose completely, not even the 3rd place. This will make the brazilians to demand from the government a decision about the terrible situation that we are living in this country in the last 10 years.
Other governments used the world cup to keep the population alienated in the past, this is not going to happen again.

In Twitter and Facebook there are brazilians already talking in start the street manifestations that were happening all over the country before this world cup start. I'm happy. This is what we really need and wouldn't happen if Brasil would have won the cup.
This is an election year. We need new and better government.
