I wrote a "I switched the PNG to the JPEG version" comment on the photo for every picture I replaced. And there was alot x.x

I can see those pics just fine... have you tried clearing your browser's cache?

I'm at school right now, and it seems I can't see it, but I was able to see every other one that is not a PNG file to being with. (Assuming I am able to do things the same as I do as home)

When I get home, I'll double-check. (I'll even try on different computers, but I'm pretty convinced it's still unviewable)

Maybe it's viewable since you're a Mod? I dunno how that works exactly. When you guys approve images, how exactly do you see it? The file itself? or the link to where the image would've been up? I'm just curious. o.0

No... something like that wouldn't have anything to do with rank - I think it's definitely a technical issue.

I use Firefox - I don't know if that makes a difference...

Hm, I also use Firefox. I tried to test it out in Internet Explorer, same result. All I get is a watermark. (If I try to save it, it'll say "watermark.php")

Tried on my sister's computer and her own Aarinfantasy account, the same result.

What I need is someone else who agrees with me. :\

All of these pics are not viewable because the file itself originally is PNG. I've double checked it by viewing the thumbnail pics of it, which shows up as png since it duplicates the same file type as the original.

Maybe you missed a couple of conversions or something, but I am sure all JPG's should work perfectly, unless there was an upload that wasn't uploaded properly.

I can check all the other links that are unviewable. They are probably in their original PNG format.

Hm, does that mean the situation is kinda hopeless?

I think I dealt with possibly 200+ PNG images, should I just... give it up and delete them and upload again? Hm, that thought kinda scares me, but it seems if it's the techincal issue and all...

well, I think the problem lies maybe because you missed a conversion or something? Everything else shows up fine when u upload them for the jpeg's one. I have yet to find any jpeg that u upload that is not viewable.

All the jpegs I upload seem to have no problem at all.

As for conversion..... I decided to test something out. I uploaded a new image through the "Select new image or leave blank to use current one" thing.

After I see the "image pending approval" thing, I put my mouse over it, only to still see the ".png" end of it. Hm.... I don't think it's something I have done... the thumbnail remains the same, and I don't know how to change that ^^;

I also tested out "rebuild thumbnail" but that wasn't much of a help either. Changing the title didn't either. Changing the file name too.

My conclusion: I can't find a way to actually change anything.

Even if there was a possible conversion thing, I am not even sure how to deal with that. The PNG files remain the same, since their thumbnails can't seem to be changed or converted, or at least I am not sure how. o.0
