I am in a bit of dilemma. I bought my manga Brother early October and was supposed to be shipped out on the 14th October based on DQ email. Normally I would received my mangas within 2 weeks. This time, I have yet to receive the shipment. Never had any problem before with DQ.

Anyone here had the same problem as mine?

Between, I wrote an email to DQ but have yet to receive any response from them.

I know DQ's site is still active and they are still selling mangas at their shop, but didn't DQ go bankrupt so is it legit to buy from their shop because no other online book stores carry their items anymore so I'm assuming they just never took down their site. Can anyone verify if they are actualy still sending books out?

No, DQ has not gone bankrupt, as there's been no official announcement. The Rightstuf still carry some of their titles (as in they are in stock). They were restocked a few months back, so there's some activity. They also have 'Summit' penciled in for a Dec 31st release, but I guess no news = no go.

I managed to order a couple of times from them in the Sep - Oct timeframe. I believe they should still be in business albeit quietly. I would recommend you used method of payment that give you the most protection when ordering from them. In my case, I used Paypal so that I can protect against credit card # theft & more easily file a complaint & get a refund if I still havent' received my order in a month etc... Please do note that there is 5% extra charge when you used Paypal though. But ordering direct from them is still the cheapest way at this time.

Thanks I emailed them and they emailed me back letting me know they are alive and well. They are quietly working on their licensed titles now and soon (who really knows when) they will release them as their come back. I was going to order with paypal regardless since I found paypal to be very useful in general ^_^

Just want to inform you that I got myself a replacement copy of Brother

Two weeks ago, Sophia replied my email, looks like my first copy had gone missing. I paid her the extra postage for the replacement copy to be shipped out.

they replied me telling me that they got the payment, but couldn't find the order from their site.

Their forum is active, try PM one of the mods there explaining your situation (I would suggest PM 'Akito').

Also, if you had made an order through their website, you should be able to find it in your account from their shop. I don't know how they would not be able to find that order.

I have actually open a dispute in paypal.
It looks like no one's replying still.
I can't seem to find where will I find my order in my account in their site, and I have the paypal transaction ID to prove that I have paid them. They got the payment and they don't even wanna reply me thinking I scammed them? :O
it's 2 books that cost me $28.44!!
