How to post links without showing the url address?

I don't know if this is the appropriate place to ask this, but I hope someone can help me sort it out :P

I'm trying to post a link to my signature and I really don't want the whole URL address to show. How do u insert the link and only show a word to click on?

Below is my signature... very ugly true...

There's been a long time since I wrote HTML but you can try this formula:

< A HREF= "insert url here"> Here's a link to my stories </A>

I tried your formula and it didn't work. I'm sorta technologically inept. Just to clarify, are there no spaces? I copied and pasted the formula and fill in the url address but it didn't work out that way. Hmmm... I'm gonna play with this for a bit.

Select the text you want to link and click on the Insert Link button. A pop up will appear where you can type in your url.

Basically the code will looks like this (without the '*')


[*URL="http://aarinfantasy.com"]Text, click here.[/URL]

And it will look like this:

Text, click here.
