Will the New Fiction Section have a *thanks or rep* function?

Dai, are we seeing the end to the *rep* system?
In the new fiction section I notice we can not *rep* or *thank* ppl.
It is one of the many ways I show, appreciation to authors. It seems a shame, to leave it out all together.
What if just a thanks button were available for the *thread starter* in the fiction section?

The new fiction section isn't compatible with the reputation system just yet. Dai isn't sure when it can be set up as of yet.

There is talk among other authors to Linking to a post in the main forum so that they can receive rep for stories. You can find the discussion in the New Fiction updates thread.

Members original needed 7,000 to get a bee but there was an update on the system and it changes the rep system, so now members just need 6,500 to get a bee and 32,500 to get a bunny.

Quick question about this .
How about where someone thanks or reps someone, but then that post is deleted. Will the rep be deleted as well?
or will the rep remain as in the case where people have repped you in the past and later they have deleted their accounts

As stated above, thanks and rep by members on posts will not be deleted even if those posts are deleted.

Thanks and rep by members will also not be deleted even when these members deleted their accounts.
