I have a question. Why do some people (dm.su is a good example) have a bee but not the full set of little blue boxes?

If you got 7000 reputation points you get a bee, the boxes will be reseted and will be counted again till 7000 points. then you will get your second bee.

I understand the rep system well but this is new LOL

someone repped but the green square that's usually next to it is blue! And it's the only blue one... I took a screenshot:

I am curious too, but I ckecked out the the printscreen shot and it is definitely not a negative rep. Maybe it was given by a mod, or an admin, but mods have given me reps and they were still green. I hope someone can find the answer =)

I'm curious as well lol, but there's a way to know what the symbol represent, I think.

Go back to your user cp and hover over the blue rep icon. Right click and select image properties or properties and a pop-up box should be displayed providing the image location.



If you read along, you'll see the name of the rep icon

Ok did that

it says:

.../reputation/reputation_balance.gif

when I did that to a green one it said:

...reputation/reputation_pos.gif

soo....I am still not sure what it means LOL ^^ balance? I am guess 'pos' means 'positive' but iono 'balance' =O

IMO, The most likely answer is that there was a momentary glitch in the system and the standard rep bar for the blue forum layout showed up instead of the standard rep bar for the green layout.

They mean the same thing.

It could be that

I did a search for reputation balance and from vbulletin it means when someone has a rep power of 0 and reps you, but new registered users have an automatic rep power of 1
