mention tag for social groups?

it's such a great feature and would make it alot easier to keep track of conversations in the social groups as well.

(i know that you can subscribe to social groups or single discussions in groups, but i'm not sure if many people know about this option, and the mention tag would notify them nevertheless)

It is possible, but the problem is the way social groups work. It might be a bit server intensive, and adds 2 extra queries on the pages. So I'm not sure if I want to do that.

Hmmm, well if you can do it, I think it'd be a really great feature. It would help keep the SGs active.
