So, I just added two new chapters to my story, Sync. That went fine. I went to put the update date in the title and in the last updated and then hit submit. It won't do that because A warning was required (is that new?) so I put None in there, solved that. It also said a summary was required (I think that's new too?) Only it won't let me type anything into the summary box. I have the little type cursor, but cannot type or paste any text in. Then, also, it's saying I have to select a fandom. My story is original. My story has no fandom, therefore I won't select one, but it is "required". I am doing this during the daily server back-up, but I don't think that has anything to do with it.

Sorry for the troubles you were having. The Fiction Section is undergoing some maintenance and improvements.

Rating, Warnings, Summaries - are now required fields when adding a story. I'm not sure yet whether existing stories will force authors to update those fields.

Fandoms shouldn't be a required setting. It was inadvertently set that way--fixed now.

Could you please let me know if you are still unable to enter a summary, at this time?

Nope, still can't type in summary box.

Okay... that field has been made optional until I can figure out why the hell it's not working. You should be able to modify your story title. etc - as you wish now.

Just please advise whether or not you run into any more problems.
